Tips For All Skin Types

We all know the basics of skin care: cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. But why should we also exfoliate, use a masque and a serum? Read on to discover three simple steps that are often overlooked.

Why Exfoliate?
Exfoliation is the key to vibrant skin. Hungarian estheticians have long known that regular exfoliation to remove the hard keratin layer build up brings luminosity and clarity to the skin. For younger skin, exfoliation unplugs pores and keeps the skin clear and smooth. For mature skin, exfoliation is essential to help minimize fine lines, remove dry flakes, and revive sluggish skin. All skin types benefit from regular exfoliation to keep healthy skin functioning optimally. To find the most effective treatment for your skin consult your esthetician.

Why Masques?
Using a face masque once or twice per week will increase the elasticity and health of your skin. Eminence masques contain high amounts of concentrated vitamins and nutrient rich ingredients. When used constantly, once or twice per week, masque applications allow the active ingredients to penetrate deeply into the skin giving additional hydration and firming benefits. Treatment masques can be used to control acne, rosacea, dryness or oily skin.

Why Serums?
Serums are secret beauty elixirs that infuse skin with pure vitamins and herbs. Serum applied as the last step before moisturizing after you skin has been cleansed and toned. The light liposome base of the serum ensures deep penetration into the skin to impart a healthy glow from within. The active ingredients plump and smooth the skin to give it a luxuriously youthful look. Serums are often a neglected step since their use is not clearly understood. In Hungary, serums are used with every skin type to treat every skin problem or to fight signs of aging.

Why Organic Skin Care?

For decades, researchers have spent countless hours and millions of dollars searching for the miracle formula to slow the aging process and preserve youthful skin. In that time, many creams have been invented and all of them claim to have found the secret for youthful skin that their competitors don’t have. All along the answers were growing in our own backyard. The same vegetables and fruits that nourish our being can also preserve the skin. They survive the harsh winters and withstand the harmful rays from the sun which is what we seek to find in our skin care products.

Organic skin care is wellness in bloom. It seems that we always go back to natural because it’s simple, pure, and free of chemicals. Your skin is the largest organ of the body and it is the most direct point of absorption. So, before you start buying skin care products you should do some research. It is important to identify your personal skin type before choosing
your products. To ensure a perfect match, and to properly care for your skin, choose your skin type based on the following options. Let our team of professional estheticians recommend the exact product match for your skin type.

Dry Skin

Your skin feels dry and tight and sometimes you can see flakes on your cheeks, chin, and forehead. Fine lines may be present around your eyes and lip contour areas. It is important to use rich products such as a daytime moisturizer and a moisturizing treatment at night to repair your skin while you sleep. Weekly moisturizing masques will keep your skin soft and supple and will reduce fine lines and signs of aging.

Normal/Combination Skin

Your skin has an even tone, and is not overly dry or oily. From time to time you may experience oiliness on your chin, nose and forehead or dryness on your cheeks, lips, and around your eye contour area. To keep the condition of your skin even and toned, a good skin care routine including cleansing and moisturizing is a must. It is important to follow the daily and weekly routines recommended by your esthetician based on your specific skin type.

Oily Skin

Your skin is shiny, has visible pores and is prone to spots and blemishes. Makeup seems to slide off your skin as soon it is applied. Oily skin has the benefit of not showing lines easily, but needs to be maintained to prevent break outs and to control shine.

Acne Skin

Acne can affect skin at any age from adolescent to adult. Acne skin is usually characterized by normal to oily skin that persistently breaks out, is clogged, reactive, and is sometimes inflamed. Acne is caused by a number of factors such as

It is important to understand that skin conditions can be treated, usually successfully, with a healthy diet, exercise and active herbal organic ingredients applied the skin surface.
